On to the details... Camera performs just as good as new and aside from some minor wear from the strap on the strap hooks, you'd think it was new! I've always kept the camera stored in a camera bag when not in use and and I've never dropped or bumped the camera. I've since upgraded so it's time to sell my 50D. Sure, the 50D isn't as small, lightweight, or user-friendly as a point-and-shoot camera but the image quality, ergonomics and lens options are well worth it! It's worth mentioning that there are currently about 160 Canon lenses that will work with this camera (not including Tamron, Sigma, etc). It also makes a great back-up camera if you photograph weddings, events, etc.

The camera's firmware has recently been updated to the most current version available (version 1.0.8). The EOS Info screen shot above was taken before the firmware update (so it shows the old firmware version 1.0.7).

Camera has exactly 3,203 shutter actuations, but don't let that deter you from bidding. These cameras are rated for 100,000 shutter actuations - and many have gone well past that - so this camera is just barely broken in. What matters most is that it came from a meticulous owner. If you were to buy this from Canon right now it'd go for $1,275 for the body alone!
